I have an HP Envy dv6 7210us which came preloaded with Win8. I have installed Win7 over the previous OS and now I am unable to find the following driver devices:
SM Bus Controller
USB Controller (2x)
I understand that the SMC has something to do with the motherboard. I went to the AMD website and wasnt able to find anything of consequence, really.
These are my specs:
OS: Currently, Win7 (64 bit)
Machine: HP Envy dv6 7210us
Processor: AMD A8 4500M APUw/ Radeon HD Graphics (1.90 Ghz)
Ram: 6 GB
System: 64 bit OS
I'm not sure if this is due more to the fact that the machine was preinstalled with Win8 and there just isnt a compatible driver, or if it is due to fact that I simply cant find it.
